Humus style composts with special additives are being used on wildlife food plots to improve the growth of a variety of crops. One local company Nature’s Trophy Blend is selling a great Humus compost with additives to improve the soil in small plots along wooded areas. They have seen a great increase in the structure of the soil and the porosity allowing for good water and nutrient infiltration.
