At Earth & Turf we are always listening to customers for feedback on their needs for topdressing equipment and it has paid off. We have always found that customer needs vary and rather than just taking an existing model with a specific hopper size and changing it from a pull to a push or self propelled model we want to actually meet each customers needs where they are and for their application. Over the last couple of years we noticed a good number of requests for a topdresser that could be used for Homeowners and Market Gardeners. Well we went to work and developed another new model which will be available this fall. It is the 65PT. We have already worked through three prototypes and recently built 5 units to put into the market but full production will begin by fall of 2019. The 65 PT is a pull type topdresser available with two different tongue options, one for a lawn and garden tractor and one for a BCS tractor. The box has a struck level capacity of 6.5 cubic foot, larger than a big wheelbarrow and the heaped capacity is even greater. It is a one wheel ground drive so it will have the same output, after the operator sets the end gate, no matter what speed you are operating at. More details will be available soon so stay tuned to the www.earthandturf.com .
