Find Landscapers Near Me That Use Earth & Turf Products

Our largest pull-behind synthetic drop spreader is our Tru-Flo 54D, designed for large areas. It has a capacity of 15 cu. ft and a 54-inch spread width. True to all Tru-Flo topdressing drop spreaders, the 54D spreads silica sand, crumb rubber, and most organic alternatives for synthetic turf.
This pull-behind spreader can be purchased with an optional dual brush that is designed to work the infill material into the turf after it is spread, a 2-in-1 feature that is unique to Earth & Turf artificial turf spreaders. This makes a very uniform application of material for consistent spreading on open surfaces!
The key to successful spreading is to run dry materials that will flow through the small gate. The best way to know whether or not your materials will work with one of our pull-behind drop spreaders is by grabbing a handful of the material you want to spread, and if it is dry enough to flow through your fingers as you open your fist, it will spread with this machine. The 54D handles materials with up to 25% moisture content.

The wide turf tires provide the power to the dispersal roller. It can be disengaged by reaching back to the raised handle. When disengaged, the roller will not spin, the gate will close, and the brushes will raise.
Two stiff-bristle synthetic turf brushes engage when the spreader engagement lever is pulled, causing a 2-in-1 spread and mix feature. This process helps to comb the spread material into the turf while spreading actively.
Wide, turf style tires ensure good traction to operate the spreader while remaining gentle on the turf surfaces. These tires are 10″ wide which helps to distribute weight over the surface while spreading or transporting.
The adjustable end-gate allows you to easily control the amount of material being applied when using this pull-behind drop spreader.
The 54D is a pull-behind drop spreader. The hitch on front makes it easy to hook up to your tractor, UTV, Side by Side or other pulling vehicle.
Our tow-behind Tru-Flo spreaders all come standard with gaskets that dramatically reduce leakage of highly flowable materials such as dry silica sand.

The 54D spreads materials that are 25% or below in moisture content. This drop spreader is primarily used by artificial turf installers that need an even and precisely metered spread. The 54D will not spread moist compost well so we recommend this spreader for Landscape Contractors and Sports Field Maintenance Departments.
The Tru-Flo 54D is a pull-behind drop spreader. It requires a small lawn & garden tractor, golf cart, utility cart, ATV, or compact tractor with at least 16 HP and able to handle the weight of a full machine. The dispensing drum is powered by the ground drive wheels on the spreader and can be turned on or off from the seat a small tractor.
This drop spreader can be used by a variety of occupations from residential turf installation crews, sports turf installers, and maintenance of sports turf.
